Don’t Drink … Gamble!

If you enjoy having a a cocktail from time to time, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your wallet, and leave all cash, charge cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Grab whatever money you intend to use on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to throw away and keep the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You may well experience a win following a inebriated night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to hook a long toss at a hot craps table. Hang on to that story because it is as brief as it gets if you always consume alcohol and bet. These activities simply do not mix.

Leaving your money out of the casino is a tiny bit dramatic, but defensive measures for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you play to profit, then don’t drink and bet. If you like to blow your $$$$ nary a concern, then drink all the gratis booze you are able to handle, but do not carry charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your dead drunk head throws away every little thing!

Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on the net to gamble in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my apartment, however seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and bet.

What’s the reason? Even though I don’t drink to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s clearly adequate to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. Both make for a dangerous, and costly, drink.
