Do Not Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a beverage from time to time, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and cheques back at the hotel. Grab only the money you intend to spend on alcohol, tips and only the pocket change you expect to lose and leave the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You could experience a success after a boozy evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Keep that account considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and gamble. The pair just don’t mix.

Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a tiny bit drastic, but precautionary actions for excessive behavior is required. If you bet to win, then don’t drink and gamble. If you can afford to burn your $$$$ nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous alcohol you are able to handle, but do not pack charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your inebriated self loses every little thing!

Permit me to carry this one step further. Don’t drink and then head on the internet to play in your preferred online casino either. I love to drink from the comfort of my apartment, but seeing that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and wager.

What’s the reason? Although I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is clearly adequate to blur my judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. The two mix up for a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
