If you like to have a beverage every once in a while, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your wallet, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks out of the casino. Grab only the money you anticipate to spend on drinks, tipping and few dollars you intend to lose and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can experience a win after a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to hit a long toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that adventure because it is as brief as it gets if you regularly drink and bet. These activities just do not mix.

Leaving your money at home is a little drastic, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is a requirement. If you bet to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to blow your $$$$ nary a concern, then drink all the gratis booze your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of following losses after your drunk as a skunk head loses all the cash!

Permit me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then head online to bet in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my house, but since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t drink alcohol and bet.

How come? Although I do not drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it’s definitely enough to cloud my common sense. I wager, so I do not drink when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, drink.
